Qualitative and Quantitative Integrated Modeling for Stochastic Simulation and Optimization

چکیده
The simulation and optimization of an actual physics system are usually constructed based on the stochastic models, which have both qualitative and quantitative characteristics inherently.Mostmodeling specifications and frameworks find it difficult to describe the qualitative model directly. In order to deal with the expert knowledge, uncertain reasoning, and other qualitative information, a qualitative and quantitative combined modeling specification was proposed based on a hierarchical model structure framework. The new modeling approach is based on a hierarchical model structure which includes the meta-meta model, the meta-model and the high-level model. A description logic system is defined for formal definition and verification of the newmodeling specification. A stochastic defense simulation was developed to illustrate how to model the system and optimize the result. The result shows that the proposed method can describe the complex system more comprehensively, and the survival probability of the target is higher by introducing qualitative models into quantitative simulation.

In this paper, the issue of integrated supplier selection and inventory policy for a drug distribution company with multiple warehouses is examined. In this research, warehouses are faced with stochastic demand and inventory of their medicines is provided by one or more suppliers that are located in a given set of candidates with price, quality and characteristics of the disruption. In addition...
متن کاملQualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Business Workkows Using Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets
The Petri net formalism, due to its graphical modeling support and profound mathematical background, has been successfully used in the analysis of systems that obey concurrency, synchronization, mutual exclusion and nondeterminism. Computerized tools supporting the model development process and automating the analysis are available today. In this work we propose the tool supported analysis of b...

In this article the methodology proposed by Li and Wang for mixed qualitative and quantitative modeling and simulation of temporal behavior of processing unit is reexamined and extended to more complex case. The main issue of their approach considers the multivariate statistics of principal component analysis (PCA), along with clustered fuzzy digraphs and reasoning. The PCA and fuz...
متن کاملTrain Scheduling Problem - Phase II: A Simulation Integrated Genetic AlgorithmSystem
In [1] a feasible timetable generator stochastic simulation modeling framework for the train scheduling problem was developed to obtain a train timetable which includes train arrival and departure times at all visited stations and calculated average train travel time for all trains in the system. In this study, the framework is integrated with a genetic algorithm (GA) in order to get an optimal...
متن کاملA stochastic version analysis of an M/G/1 retrial queue with Bernoulli schedule
In this work, we derive insensitive bounds for various performance measures of a single-server retrial queue with generally distributed inter-retrial times and Bernoulli schedule, under the special assumption that only the customer at the head of the orbit queue (i.e., a FCFS discipline governing the flow from the orbit to the server) is allowed to occupy the server. The method...
